Alien Quest

Every level in Alien Quest shows you an image and hands you a scrambled set of letters, and the job is to work out what the picture is actually showing before you can spell it out. The alien framing is thin - really it's a vocabulary game dressed up as teaching two stranded aliens English. Where it gets interesting is when the image is ambiguous enough that more than one word could fit, and you have to think about which one the letters actually allow.
