Addiction Solitaire

Cards deal out into columns with one card showing face-up in each, and clearing the layout means playing anything one rank higher or lower than whatever's exposed — essentially the rules of Golf Solitaire under this game's alternate name. Aces and kings connect, so a King can drop onto an Ace and back again, which opens up longer runs than the numbers alone suggest. You can deal from the stock when you're stuck, though only a limited number of times before the game ends. It rewards planning a move or two ahead rather than grabbing the first legal card in front of you.
