The Lasso of Fortune

An explorer is stuck dangling over caverns full of treasure, held up by ropes placed at specific points in each level. Your job is cutting them in the right order and at the right moment, since one wrong cut sends the rope — and the explorer — straight into whatever hazard is waiting below. It plays like a physics puzzle more than an action game: you're reading the level and planning the sequence before you touch anything.
