You're staring at a metal plate with screws jammed into it, and the goal is to pull them out in an order that doesn't get anything stuck or drop something you needed to keep in place. It looks like a simple tap-and-remove game at first, but the plates are built to punish the obvious move, pulling the wrong screw first can lock the whole puzzle. The difficulty ramps up gradually enough that you're solving genuinely tricky arrangements by the time you notice it's no longer easy.
