Shaun the Sheep: Sheep Stack
Shaun the Sheep: Sheep Stack
Shaun the Sheep: Sheep Stack takes the claymation flock from Aardman's Shaun the Sheep and turns them into building blocks for a physics puzzle. Each level gives you a target window somewhere above the ground, and the only way up is to launch sheep at each other using a slingshot built from their own pants: pull back on a sheep's trousers, aim, and let go to send it flying toward the growing stack below. Landing each new sheep cleanly on top of the last one raises the pile a little higher, and the level is complete once the topmost sheep reaches the window. It's a simple idea with a silly premise, but judging the right angle and amount of pull for each shot takes a surprising amount of trial and error, especially once the stack starts leaning.
How to play Shaun the Sheep: Sheep Stack
Controls
- Click and hold on a sheep's clothing to pull it back like a slingshot.
- Drag to set the angle and how far back you pull, which controls the launch power.
- Release to fire the sheep toward the stack.
- Land it as centered as possible on top of the previous sheep to keep the stack steady.
- Keep launching sheep and stacking them until the top of the pile reaches the window to clear the level.
Tips and strategy
Aim for the dead center of the sheep below rather than the edge, since off-center landings are what usually make a stack start leaning and eventually topple. Use shorter, more controlled pulls for the shots near the top of the stack, where a small mistake has a bigger effect on balance than it would lower down. If a stack starts to wobble, it's often better to lower your launch power for the next shot rather than trying to overpower the wobble, since a heavier impact tends to make things worse. Building a wide, even base with your first couple of sheep also makes the rest of the stack far more forgiving.
