It belongs to the calm end of the genre. There is no clock anywhere in it, the music is deliberately unhurried, and a level you cannot finish tonight will still be there tomorrow. What keeps it from going soft is the length: by level two hundred the letter sets are long enough that the board stops handing you the answer.
How to play Word Haven
- The letters sit in a ring at the bottom of the screen.
- Drag through them in order to spell a word. The letters do not have to be next to each other in the ring.
- A word that belongs on the board drops into its slot.
- A real word that is not on the board becomes a bonus word and earns coins instead.
- Spend coins on hints when a level stops moving.
- Fill every slot to move on.
Two boosters sit alongside the coins. The Magnifier opens a single letter on the board. Pascal Case reveals the first letter of every unsolved word at once, which is the one to hold back for a level that has genuinely stalled.
Tips and strategy
- Collect bonus words on the easy levels. Early boards are generous, coins carry forward, and the levels where you will actually need a hint are two hundred screens away.
- Read the slot lengths before you spell anything. A board asking for one seven letter word and four threes is a completely different puzzle from one asking for six fives.
- The longest slot almost always uses every letter in the ring. Solve it first and the rest of the board is built from its pieces.
- Run the endings. S, ED, ER and ING turn one solved word into two or three more.
- Use the Magnifier on a long word rather than a short one. One letter in a seven letter slot narrows the field far more than one letter in a three.

What are bonus words?
Real words you spell that are not among the answers on the board. They do not fill a slot, but they earn coins that pay for hints later.
What do the Magnifier and Pascal Case do?
The Magnifier reveals one letter on the board. Pascal Case reveals the first letter of every word you have not yet found, which makes it the better one to save for a level that has stopped moving.
Is Word Haven timed?
No. There is no clock at any point, which is what makes it one of the more relaxed word puzzles here.
Is it free?
